Mid-May in Spy Garden 2018

Little mover (he started on the middle of the blanket)

This was from the school district art show a few weeks ago (by some -talented- kid)

Watching the baby birds.

I think they are house finches. Well, were…

Quite gruesome

Another kid’s (not mine) art work from that district show a few weeks ago

Less traumatizing than the snake are the skinks:

Skinks in love

A skink on every tree

Love these shell markings

Rolling over, oh boy! Once he gets mobile, the game is on. ;)
Looks like spring is in full swing at your house.
I read once that the chances of a bird reaching adulthood is 1 in 10. Not great odds, eh? You have lots of reptiles there, seems like a healthy ecosystem!

Not rolling over yet (almost) but he is able to scootch along on his back. I am not ready for him to be mobile yet!! Hahha I was thinking the same thing about all the reptiles being a sign of a healthy ecosystem. :)
