Frozen ice like this is a rare sight around here; I am guessing this happened because we got all that rain a few weeks ago

This spot is not ideal for seedlings because it is right next to the heat vents so they could dry out quickly. But Babyzilla is on top of it. She planted all the seedlings and has been doing all the watering! We’ve only planted seeds we already have. I still need to place a seed order (probably will order from Baker Creek but might try another place if anyone has any good seed/plant source suggestions!)

Things are looking good at SG! Bet that big tree was a cottonwood, they get humungous! Love the turkey tails in the snow, it’d make a nice framed pic. The iced over waterfall looks like my neck of the woods. We haven’t had much snow (unlike the rest of the east coast), so our waterfalls are awesome. It feels weird to have so little snow cover. I’m having trouble uploading onto to WP for some reason, arrgh, as I want to post some ice shots.
I ordered some seeds from High Mowing out of VT, they’re all organic, if you’re interested. Had to get the Orca (Calypso) beans – they are so cute. Says they taste like potatoes – hmmm. And of course, lots of cut flower seeds. :-)

Spycasso rules! Dexie has to be one of the most photogenic dogs in history. Every image of her makes her look good. It certainly looks COLD in your neck of the woods. I would swap “wet” for just about anything around about now in our El Nino dry conditions. Loving the garden potential and baby looking after it :)

Lol I know we always joke she is like a male model from that movie zoolander. Yes it’s cold and I am ready to order some seeds and maybe even sow some winter hardy things…and dreaming of ordering a big pile of dirt to add to the garden. It doesn’t exactly need more dirt but a giant pile of dirt is just so fun! And it makes planting a breeze! Hope you get some rain!
