You and Steve always seem to be pretty busy learning, planting, discovering, building, jaunting, etc., etc. yourselves! Yes it was a fun getaway. Only about an hour drive from Spy Garden; and a pretty drive; very rural; lots of rolling hills and farms on the way. I wonder if they have time share type places down in Tasmania? I had never really heard of them and very glad it was easy to say “No thanks” to the membership ahhaah I just saw your spring-y posts and I have to say it freaks me out: I am ready for the slow, cold season! Also Steve’s photoshopped pictures of the autumn leaves were great! ;)

We have been promised a long dry summer and they weren’t kidding. We are normally inundated with dampness around about this time of year but it has been much drier than usual. Fingers crossed we get a bit of rain before summer sets in. Not sure about the Tassie time shares. I think the whole of Tasmania is available to rent on a cheap rate if anyone out there is interested ;)

So glad you had a wonderful time and didn’t have to endure a excruciating sales pitch. It looks beautiful and really enjoyed the pictures! So sorry I missed the game tonight…… Came home exhausted after taking Joyce for tests and doctor appointment.

That horse is so wide ‘Zilla looks like she’s doing splits! Looks like the weather was awesome. I remember going to one of those time-share things when the kids were little. The hard-sell was so awful, we vowed we’d never do it again. How was your experience? They say there is no such thing as a free lunch! ;-)

It was surprisingly pleasant; a woman drove us around parts of the property (parts we hadn’t already seen) and back at the sales office it was just 15 minutes. QUITE painless; the whole sales thing was only one hour! I had never even heard of these time share type places until a month ago when a co-worker told me about Lost Valley. And its not like we didn’t spend ANY money there; souvenirs, ice cream, and the canoe and horse rides (all very cheap) but made us feel less guilty for the free weekend! The place is only an hour from our house so I would seriously consider a place like that, however, it didn’t have enough “wilderness” for us; no real hiking trails and no good creeks or places to really explore hahah ;) So on to the next adventure/trip/outing; whatever/wherever that may be! ;)
