When we first moved here to Tassie they were actually allowed to buy and set off fireworks here! The rest of Australia (aside from The Northern Territory that is apparently a territory unto itself and a feral one at that) has banned them for a long time now. They stopped allowing them here a few years ago when some (idiot) hurt themselves doing something stupid with them but whatchagonnadoeh? Lovely things (in the right hands ;) ). Happy America Day! Hope The Spy had a great time at camp :)
Yeah the mom (and nurse) in me jabbers on… “be careful, watch out, run away, pay attention” etc, etc. when the boys are setting off fireworks. They are dangerous indeed. But fun and pretty too! The Spy did have a great time at camp and hopefully soon I will have a good post about that!

She did fine, was more excited than scared! Thanks about the flower arrangement. I realize making and photographing flower arrangements is harder than it would seem: a new challenge! ;) I saw a few of your beautiful flower arrangements and am inspired to make some of my own!
I am so glad you feel inspired. It is a soothing creative outlet for me. I have a young neighbor who is 7 and is my little apprentice, we love to gather flowers and make arrgmts. together, I’m passing the baton so to speak. Just like you and ‘Zilla. :-)
