It’s great to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same old rehashed
information. Fantastic read! I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m adding your
RSS feeds to my Google account.
Thanks!!! Been a bit behind in posting hope to post some new content soon!!
So much happening in your garden! Our love-in-the-mist has barely sprouted. Have you been getting lots of rain? The middle states seem to be inundated, while we are way too dry. Where was that snake from? I hope not from your yard – kind of scary with the kids and dog around. Would love to hear THAT story!
https://spygarden.com/2015/05/08/10688/ (link about the Copperhead;) maybe you missed the post. Yes, we have had lots of rain which is great. Thanks for the comments;)
Sorry, with all my gardening, I’ve missed a few days…I’ll head over now. :-)
Must be nice to be in the garden after a cold new England winter;)!
Yes, indeed! However, unfortunately, these past few years have exacted a high price. I just came down with my second case of Lyme – arrgh! Thank God for antibiotics, at least I can tamp those buggers down.
I went to your post about the copperhead – pretty scary and I daresay it is good to have a man around in this case, assuming that it was Smoochie that smited its head. Very EWWW but the family must be protected.
I think you might have to come up with another name for baby as she appears to have outgrown it Ms Spy! What are you going to do with that snake skin? I sometimes think that you guys live in another world or time than I do, your world is SO very different than mine! I get a narf’s eye view of someplace that I would never have even contemplated visiting, even if I had the funds sitting waiting for me to spend. I think you live in an incredible part of the world Ms Spy. Love the creative solve on the basketball hoop by the way. We will make a sustainable guru out of The Spy yet ;). I am SO going to have to get hold of some of those Tarwi Q’Ollo. THey look like irises! Thank you for sharing the beauty of your “neck of the woods” Ms Spy. From someone who just ain’t gonna get on a long-haul flight in the foreseeable future, I thank you for your sterling efforts ;) By the way, what is “Memorial Day?” We don’t have it here. I am guessing it is something peculiarly American?
Memorial day is for remembering those who died serving in the US armed forces. It’s also the weekend the pools open around here…and school’s out! It’s the first weekend of summer. Surely you remember the start of summer in the US?! Swimming pools, sprinklers, picnics and all that? ;) I know we do need a new blog name for Babyzilla! I want to make a watch band out of that snakeskin: wouldn’t that be the coolest?! Hope you are having a cozy late autumn/winter down under. :)
Happy summer time!!
:)
