Happy Friday! Some random images from the week…

Spy Garden painting (by the Spy from a few years ago). Those green shapes are a bird’s eye view of the garden (sans a couple of plots)

Baby working on Christmas thank-yous. Those pink prints were made by pressing a dragon fruit onto paper (the dragonfruit is a great source of pink ink!)

Princess Fallulah…made by my sister. Her shoes are blue because she ran through a field of blueberries.
Happy weekend all!
Fungi can grow anywhere! I love fungi and am their willing slave ;). LOVE those blue shoes. As our blueberries are just ready to harvest now (doing it today) I might test a few on my white shoes…maybe not! I have carrots that have gone to seed, flowering at the moment and I am going to collect the seed this year. Each year I learn to do something different. This year is “succession plant” but if something goes to seed I am up for a challenge ;). I think that fungi is called turkey fungus. It’s very beautiful and we get something similar here. Good to see you are all surviving your winter well and that the crafting (and thanks) goes on :)
Yes “turkey tail” mushrooms; always learn something new in glog-world!
:) We have them out here as well :)
Nice turkey-tail mushrooms – you can make an immunity-boosting tea from them – Chinese medicine has used them for 1000s of years. Your sister’s doll is sweet – nothing speaks of love like a homemade doll. :-)
Thanks for the mushroom ID!! My sister is an artist and art teacher in Florida. We have a whole collection of stuffed animals, prints and more from her! Homemade is always the best:)
