What an awesome key rack! Spy aunty has some seriously good moves going with her artistic endeavours. Is that wood burned? Lubbly jubbly Spy Aunt/sister :). A violin for The Spy? LOVE that lemon. I have 4 babies on my Myer lemon tree but mine is planted in Sanctuary. Dexie looks suitably regal (and well behaved) on that lovely leather armchair. How long did that last? ;). We both had blue skies on Christmas Day. How lucky are we? Music is the best gift that you can give your children aside from the appreciation of reading and a good sense of humour. Kudos on the most excellent and educational gifts :)

Yes, she used a tool to burn the drawing into the slice of wood! She lives in Florida and teaches art at a high school. She is very talented/creative! We only had three lemons this year; last year there were about a dozen. That pretty much IS Dexie’s armchair Hahahahah. Yes, the blue sky Christmas was great! And it is pushing 60 degrees today and sunny again! The Spy has learned the violin at school this year so is very excited to have his own. Nice that you can grow citrus in Sanctuary! In the seed catalog they had some β€œbitter oranges” that apparently can survive a hard frost but were sold out when I ordered my (first round hhahaha) of seeds/plants for 2015.

Keep hassling the seed company (in a nice way) and they will let you know as soon as they get more of the seed in. Bitter oranges? Are they Seville oranges? (The kind that they make marmalade out of) Let me know what kind you are after and I can check here. There are a lot of citrus grown on the mainland as Australia is pretty much “California” en masse ;). We also have an awesome native lime here that you would love called a “finger lime” check it out. The fruit is in tiny little spheres and it can come in all kinds of glorious colours…
