I hope you all had a magnificent day. I didn’t realise that Spy Garden was so teeny first up! It’s MUCH bigger now :). I had a most interesting conversation with someone about sweet potato pumpkins. They were given some seed and were wondering what they were like. Any hints? Loving that snow. We had rain and sunshine and heat all in one day and in the right order for once! I even found the time to pot up some amazing seeds that a friend sent to me. Surely potting up seeds on Christmas Day gives them a little Je ne sais quoi that they would otherwise be missing. I hope visions of garden futures dance in your head until you get back out into gorgeous Spy Garden in 2015 :)
Spy Garden is ALWAYS expanding hahah. The sweet potato pumpkins, in my experience, are basically like regular pumpkins though the flesh is smoother (less stringy than some varieties). We had blue skies for Christmas, which was just fine. There’s more winter to be had around here so we can sit tight and wait for snow on another day. And it was nice to enjoy a walk through Spy Garden (already imagining spring of course!) Merry Christmas to you!
:)
Best wishes for a blessed Christmas!
Thanks, same to you!
