I love the look of joy on the Forest school students faces. I also love the dedication of that teacher to hike out into the middle of that pond with a teeny net to catch something “interesting” for the kids to look at. What a gal! (And what a nice manicure ;) ). I don’t know which is prettier, that shade of mauve or that lovely fat frog :). Forest school is educational amazement and possibilities to the max Ms Spy. You dun good :)

I always say that the most important thing you need before trekking out into the forest (or garden) is a good manicure! ;) The teachers at her school are wonderful; and always enthusiastically getting dirty and playing with worms, etc. right along with the kids The teachers actually took all these pictures too; they document many of the activities and projects and even make photo books for the school and individual portfolios for each kid!

That sounds a whole lot like a Steiner school. Awesome self paced learning and lots of focus on “doing” and nature. A most awesome school experience and probably the best kind of education. Your kids will both thank you for this one day :)
