Jarahdale pumpkins (or Japs as they are known in our neck of the woods) are scrumptious pumpkins. Hope you get to enjoy yours this season. How full of possibilities is your garden? Everywhere you look there is something going on but thats what having a garden does for you…endless opportunities for your kids to explore and learn and taste and grow and increased biodiversity for your house, your town and your state…ALL good stuff :). Notice I am strategically ignoring the blackberries?! ;)
Well I hope we get more than just the two “japs” but look forward to tasting them! Thanks for the nice comments;)
Those blackberries look so scrumptious! Are they wild or cultivated? I love blackberry pie :-) I love the silhouette of the mantis – cool critter – alien bug!
The blackberries are in the northwest corner of the garden. They bought a bush for me last Mother’s Day (2013) and now the plant is really growing like crazy; its wonderful! Yes, was happy to catch a mantis this year; hadn’t seen one yet (they are sneaky!)
