The Cards have various theme nights throughout the season; so OF COURSE, we had to go to Gardening Night (sponsored by the Missouri Botanical Garden). We arrived early to check out the new Ballpark Village…

Inside Ballpark Village

You can see the stadium from most every angle of Ballpark Village!

Ballpark Village (seen from inside the ballpark); it’s like an extension of the stadium!

Grabbing a bite to eat at Ballpark Village before the game (with a great view of the stadium!)

Once inside the ballpark we immediately went to claim our…

Garden Gnomes!

Go Cards!

Of course, I had to find something that belongs in a garden! This was a HUGE beetle!
But most importantly…

They won!

The ballpark village looks great in the left field skyline. I’m a huge STL fan but I don’t get to go much now that my family lives in Virginia. I hope my Dad and I can check out the new addition this summer. Thanks for the pictures. I hope y’all had fun.
Thanks for commenting! Busch stadium is definitely an awesome place, hope you get to go back soon!
Great photos – such a clear day. The Spy (and Smoochie) must have been over the moon with the win. What a great memory for the Spy. Awesome tiger beetle, btw. Wonder what he finds to eat in the ballpark? They are great friends to have in the garden, both as grubs and adults. Have a great weekend!
You are making me wish I took the beetle home with me haha! You have a great weekend too!
Yay Cards! I love seeing all that red in the stadium. That’s a cute little gnome. I’m going to have to check out Ballpark Village sometime. :)
Thanks, it was a fun night! Ballpark village is definitely worth checking out (even if you aren’t going to a game!)
