Painting and crocheting: a perfect Friday night!
I finished this yesterday. 100% cotton yarn (so easily washable: and breathable too!). I didn’t mean for it to be twisty, but after I did a chain stitch and started to connect it, the twists just “appeared”. A “snood” = scarf + and + hood. Scood or Hoorf if you prefer.
The last painting is inspired by tiny houses. They are a thing. And this one is adorable.
There’s some serious artistic talent running in this family. Spy got a buzz-cut? Probably cooler when he runs around!
My talents do not include boys’ haircuts. I tried to give him a trim but it did not come out right (it does SOMETIMES!) hence the buzz cut. HAhhaha
The Spy drew a green tomato slice and The Big Bad Wolf where the girls went nuts with colour and abstract tastiness…great job for those holed up by the cold. I am off outside to find a big tree to hide under till the heat passes by…
Enjoy the shade! It HAS been cold! But warming up so maybe tomorrow will call for more digging!
I love the color of the snood! It is lovely! :-)
Thanks! :)
