In the teepee:
The teepee is made of seven pieces of wood (probably all around ten feet long). Five of the pieces are old cedar fence posts. We used the posts last year in a large arbor (which has since been disassembled) and they are painted dark brown. One piece is a fallen tree and the last piece is a split log. They are all tied together at the top. The bottoms are dug into the ground. Garden twine is strung between the pieces to allow the plants (Serpente di Sicilia edible gourd) to climb! The teepee is about eight feet tall.
Click here to see the teepee on May 28, 2013 before anything was growing up it! I had planted beans intending for them to cover the teepee, but the gourds ended up calling the teepee home!

I really like the way you interact with your children and pets. You teach them as they teach you.
