Our friend, Carrie Lang, comes over to do yoga in Spy Garden when the weather is nice. And we go to her in-home yoga studio if it is raining or cold. Her son and my daughter are just ten days apart and have done yoga together since they were newborns…well, technically since they were tiny zygotes! I have posted pictures of “baby yoga” several times and feel I have a confession to make: doing yoga with kids isn’t actual yoga. You can’t really focus on your breathing, you can’t really hold poses for a long time and you can’t really pay attention to your alignment. It is more of a play-date than a yoga session, but it is still fun to expose the kids to a little yoga and occasionally we get in a half-decent stretch.
So peaceful, so calm, so serene. So not what baby yoga is actually like hahaha
