The yellow strawberries are ok. I think their flavor develops as the season continues (as I remember them being much more complex in flavor in late summer 2012). I bought the seeds based on this picture and description (from Baker Creek):
“This creamy yellow-fruited variety is a favorite of many in Europe. The small fruit are very tasty and unique looking. Many prefer the taste of this yellow-fruited type to the more common red strawberry. These are served in only the finest restaurants and are easy to grow from seed”
So I didn’t really realize they would be so small (like regular wild strawberries). I would like to add some “regular” big strawberries to the garden next year.
We got this high chair from a guy who knew the original owner, who sat in it as a child in 1903!
